Q: Who can open a legal entity in Poland?

Sole Proprietorship (JDG):To register a JDG, you must be a natural person with full legal capacity, including being at least 18 years old.Polish citizens, citizens of other European Union countries, and Ukrainian citizens have the right to open a JDG in Poland without any additional requirements.Other foreign nationals can open a JDG if they have one of the following permits: permanent residence, long-term EU residence, temporary residence permit due to family circumstances, temporary residence permit due to marriage to a Polish citizen, a valid Pole’s Card, and other grounds provided by the laws of the Republic of Poland.
